Samantha's research primarily focuses on applying an interpretable machine learning algorithm to maternal health data to help better identify mental health risk. She is also passionate about health and gender equity, as well as LGBTQ issues. In her free time, she enjoys creative pursuits such as fiber arts and hair dyeing, exploring the many Pennsylvania trails with her partner, and spending time with her cats.
